Description
Tank lid packing with an ethylene-propylene core, spirally wound with PTFE tape, over-braided with polypropylene yarn jackets.
Application
Specially developed to seal marine cargo tank lids. The PTFE outer cover gives complete protection to the packing and is abrasion resistant. The unique core construction enables the packing to be welded together to form an endless seal, thus preventing the chance of any leakage at the joint. Tank lid packing is chosen according to type of cargo.
For static cargo or chemical tanks, and acids, alkalis, oils, solvents, chemicals and edible products.
